Right before the wedding I ordered a few products from The Body Shop’s website because they had an awesome sale – or at least that was my excuse! I had hoped they would arrive before I left for my parents for the wedding, but they didn’t – whomp whomp. Even though they didn’t make it in time to use them for the big day, I am still pretty excited about these products being in my life!
The Body Shop’s All In One InstaBlur 5 Action Perfecter
This product is the whole reason why I decided to make the order in the first place. It’s only available online, at least at the moment – and I was pretty excited about it when I saw it on The Body Shop’s website! I don’t need another primer in my life – I really do love my current one – but this one sounded cool.
I have to admit, I was a bit disappointed with it when I got it. It seemed just like any other primer, though with a much thicker consistency. That is, until I wore it with concealer only one day, and realized how much it made a difference in my skin. It really does blur over imperfections – it doesn’t cover them up like foundation or concealer does, but it made my acne scarring look less angry. Which I mean, c’mon, that’s just amazing, right?
I’m excited to keep using this product to see if I continue to enjoy it as much as I have been.
InstaBlur is available on The Body Shop’s website for CA $22.
The Body Shop’s Honey Bronzer in 01
I have been itching to try this bronzer for a while all thanks to EssieButton and this seemed like an excellent excuse to buy it. A sale is a sale, and if I was going to be making an order anyway…
This bronzer is another one that underwhelmed me when I first put it on, but I put that down to inexperience with using bronzer more than the actual product. I used it again after contemplating returning it and fell in love. I have never really used bronzer before and I spent a little more time with it yesterday and I just love it. Plus it smells amazing! It has a slight honey scent to it in the pan, though it’s not to sweet and it doesn’t transfer onto your face at all.
Honey Bronzer is available online and in stores for CA $20.
The Body Shop’s Colour Crush Lipstick in 110
If I say I’ve been dying to try a colour crush lipstick will that be too repetitive? Well I have, and I don’t regret this purchase at all! This lipstick is a great every day colour (which I am lacking) and it’s very moisturizing to the lips! It doesn’t have long lasting power, unfortunately, but I didn’t expect it to with it’s shiny formula.
The Colour Crush Lipstick is available online and in stores for CA $13.
