The Perfect Purple Fall Lip

If you’re at all like me, the thing you’re looking forward to the most about fall is the purples. Purple is my favourite colour to wear (or decorate with, or stare at…) but it’s only recently that I discovered that I could in fact pull off purple makeup. And it was all thanks to Revlon’s Colorburst Matte Balm in Shameless.

Shameless is the first and only matte balm that I have tried but I am so in love. This is the perfect red-toned purple  – it’s a bit more bold than a raspberry, but not so dark as to wash me out completely. Add in the easy application that comes with the crayon format of Revlon’s lip balms and the perfect blend of a stain and a balm, and you’ve got one perfect lip product.

I like to wear Shameless very opaque, but it’s also very doable as a sheer wash of colour for an easier to wear look. With a $10 price tag, it’s hard to say no to this beauty.

Have you tried Revlon’s Colorburst Matte Balms? What’s your favourite?

    • I was *terrified* when I bought it and even more so the first time I put it on. I HATED it at first, but I have definitely grown to love it. I think love may not be a strong enough word for my obsession. 😉
