Steal the Look #2: Keira Knightley

This post contains products that were sent to me for my consideration. Go here for my disclosure policy.

Ever see a makeup look that you absolutely love, but have no idea what products to use to replicate it? Well Wet’n’Wild has just the thing for you – their new Steal the Look app! The app suggests products from Wet’n’Wild’s line that will help you to create any look and well…it’s actually really fun to play around with. I was so excited to be contacted by Wet’n’Wild via the Canadian Beauty Bloggers to help promote the new app – I mean, I love their eyeshadows so much, so getting to play with more of their makeup? Yes please.

I have done it again – I have stolen another look! This time I took inspiration from one of my favourite actresses, Keira Knightley! Knightley is arguable the Queen of the Smokey Eye, so I thought it would be fun to attempt!

As it turns out, I only have two (well, technically one I suppose) of the three products and try as I might I just couldn’t find a shadow on Keira’s lips that equaled another lip product. In addition to Comfort Zone I decided to add in the Silent Treatment Trio – specifically for it’s black shade.

I did my base as I normally do (see the bottom of the post for products used) but really amped up the bronzing and highlighting. Once that was finished, I started the eyes off by applying the left highlight from Comfort Zone from the eyelashes to the brow for some pretty highlighting. I followed this up by patting the Crease shade from the same side of Comfort Zone all over the lid and onto the lower lash line. To add some more definition to my eye I added the Definition (heh) shade from Comfort Zone in the crease and blended it out like crazy.

After the basic eye look was done I grabbed Silent Treatment and applied a thin but dark line of the Crease shade on both my upper and lower lash line and blended out the sharp edges. The look was really starting to come together at this point, but it needed a bit more oomph. So I grabbed my black kohl eyeliner and tightlined both my upper and lower lash lines before slathering on some mascara.

Now, for the lips. I didn’t have a peachy shade from Wet n Wild so I decided to go for the closest pink I had – Mauve Outta Here! While it’s not exactly the same look I think it’s a very pretty substitute!

Not too bad if I do say so myself! This definitely isn’t an every day look for me, but it’s definitely a fun one to do for a night out.

If you like this look keep an eye out on my Facebook Page or my Pinterest where I will be posting a tutorial later today!
