Hi, friends! I am so thrilled to announce that I have another Canadian Beauty Blogger guest posting for me today! Jenn is a recent (but dear) friend and I’m excited to share a post she wrote for me about the best blushes of 2014! I’m still a bit intimidated by blush so this is such a lovely post for me to feature here! Yay!
Hi, everyone! It’s Jen from Vibrant Beauty Blog. So happy to be posting on Up the Rollercoaster today! I’m writing as part of a December series organized by the Canadian Beauty Bloggers group, a fantastic network of gals from coast to coast who gush about all things shiny and pretty. Honoured to be a part of it!
The theme of the series is Favourites of 2014. I thought about what selection I’d share for this post and quickly realized that it was my blush collection that truly blossomed this year (literally in some cases, as I have a flower-shaped cheek colour!). In that vein, I thought I’d share with you my most reached-for blushes of 2014. Some were new releases this year, while others were oldies that I was simply lucky to stumble across over the past 12 months. In either case, I hope I inspire you to check some of them out, as they’re all completely fabulous!
It feels so weird to be posting this after Christmas, wrong almost. Like once Christmas is over all hints of any advent calendars should be gone or something. I dunno. Anyway I have the last four teas in the David’s Tea 24 Days of Tea advent calendar to share with you today, which definitely contained some good’uns (and some meh’uns).
It feels like it’s been a while since I’ve sat down to chat with you even though I have been putting up the David’s Tea posts. As I’m writing this Dylan is frying some pancakes, I’m drinking a cup of coffee and Korra is sitting next to me on the couch being all cute-like. So you could say it’s a pretty good Sunday so far!
Dylan and I on Boxing Day!
I hope you had a really love Christmas! I’ll be talking more about mine tomorrow, but in short – it was pretty lovely. Today I’m sharing a guest post I wrote for my friend Megan discussing my favourite bits of budget beauty! Many of the items in the photo above will be familiar to you if you’ve been reading Up the Rollercoaster for a while, but if they’re new to you (and even if they aren’t!) you should go read my post on Megan Joy!
Happy Monday! I’m taking most of the week off of blogging for the holidays but I thought I would keep posting my Advent Calendar reviews so next weeks isn’t ridiculously long.
Hello friends! I have teamed up with the lovely Kaitlyn of Kaitlyn Elisabeth Beauty to create a Best Lippies of 2014 roundup over on her blog. I admit it was incredibly difficult to narrow it down to six products, but I managed (somehow).
Anyway I would love if you would go check out the post and leave a comment letting us know what your favourite lip product was this year!
