November Favourites

It’s been a while since I’ve done a favourites post! I’ve missed doing them so I think I’m definitely going to have to start doing them on a regular basis again. I also apologize for the weird lighting in these photos – I am still trying to figure out how to get good photos in winter. I think I am going to need to make a light box one of these days.

November Favourites

Epic Blend Lip Balm in More Moisture Grape. I won a set of Epic Blend lip balms from Michelle of A Lovely Allure and I have been obsessed since. This grape one smells and tastes exactly like grape candy while giving my lips a healthy dose of moisture. Mmm.

Tresemme 24 Hour Volume Shampoo and Conditioner. This is another fairly recent addition to my bathroom but I have become obsessed. Since switching the this shampoo and conditioner I haven’t had to douse my hair in volumizing mousse – I can just dry and go. (Well, sometimes straightening the ends, but meh.) It’s been so nice! And it smells like candy. Not quite as good as my green apple scented shampoo, but still pretty tasty.

Clean Rollerball in Warm Cotton. Okay, so I just bought this on Black Friday but it is such an amazing scent. For a perfume newb like me it is perfect – it smells amazing, like that smell the dryer gives off when it’s in the middle of drying clothes – but it isn’t so strong that offends others. And it doesn’t get caught in the back of my throat like some perfumes. Considering I hadn’t smelled it before I bought the Clean set, I am so happy with it.

Felted Penguin Christmas Ornament. Dylan gave me this as an early Christmas present and I love it so much! LOOK AT HOW CUTE IT IS.

November Favourites

American Eagle Feather Light Open Cardigan in Heather Grey. I bought this during the recent AEO Friends and Family sale and I have fallen in love hard. It is not only super comfy – soft fabric, feels like you’re wearing nothing at all – but it’s the perfect cardigan to keep my temperature consistent at work. Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect.

November Favourites

Spring Ain Boots. I bought these because I was in desperate need of some comfortable footwear for work and not only are they comfy, but they are nice and warm too! And water proof! Which is so nice seems as it has been raining so much lately. #maritimerproblems

November Favourites 1

Taylor Swift’s 1989. I’m sure I’m the last person in the world to be swooning over this album, but here I am. Of course I love “Blank Space” but I think “Style” is my favourite song on the album…at least right now.

Lorde’s Pure Heroin. I have been listening to Pure Heroin even more than 1989, which is saying something. They are basically all I’ve been listening to in my free time. I couldn’t pick a favourite song on Pure Heroin though because I love every. single. song.

November Favourites 2

That 70’s Show. Dylan and I have been doing a rewatch this month and I have been reminded why I loved this show so much when it was on. Granted, we just got to blonde Donna so it’s about to go downhill fast, but I’ve been enjoying it so far!

Gilmore Girls. How can explain my love for this show? It’s a bit dated technology-wise, but the wit and humour are still there. If I want to watch something and Dylan isn’t around, it is definitely Gilmore Girls. Is there a tv show more perfect? I don’t think so.

I just realized that I don’t have a single makeup item in this list of favourites! Weeeeeeird!

What have been some of your favourite things this month?
