MAC Plumful

When I met Zoe back in January we decided that we should both buy a MAC lipstick to commemorate the occasion. At this point I owned three MAC lipsticks (Lustering, Viva Glam V and Viva Glam I) and five MAC products in total (the lipsticks, a Mineralize Skinfinish and Matchmaster foundation that is sadly too dark for me…) so I had no idea which lipstick I should add to my collection. Do I go the red route and do Lady Danger? Or maybe the purple Rebel?

Tea Time: Teapigs Organic Matcha

This post contains products that were sent to me for my consideration. Go here for my disclosure policy.

It’s been a while since I’ve done a Tea Time post! I admit, since it’s been getting warmer I’ve been drinking less tea, so it’s been tough to find inspiration. But you can put mathcha in anything! All that delicious green tea taste without sweating for an hour after you’ve finished drinking it? Yes please!

I like Orange Lipstick and I Cannot Lie

Hello friends! I’m guest posting over on Workaday Beauty today for the Canadian Beauty Bloggers guest post exchange! The theme of the month was orange (remember JustJ’s beautiful post?) and I couldn’t help but gush over my favourite orange lipsticks. (And one lip pencil, cus a bright orange DEFINITELY needs a lip pencil!)

Head on over to Sarah’s blog to see more!

MAC Lustering

If you would have told me even six months ago that my most worn MAC lipstick would be a pink one, I probably would have laughed at you. I’m not a pink sort of person and the only pink lipsticks that I generally go for are natural, rosey shades. So a bright one like MAC Lustering? Looks like this is one of those instances where trying something out of my comfort zone has worked out in my favour.

Guest Post: Orange Face of the Day with Just J

Hi everyone! I’m MizzJ of Just J, a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blog based out of Vancouver. I want to thank Jodi today for featuring me as her CBB guest poster for May. This month’s theme is orange and I was thrilled to work with this theme as I just happened to have an orange eyeshadow that I had yet to use.

Inspired by an orange shadow look that Jayne of Cosmetic Proof had done ages ago, I had hunted down my own orange palette from Shu Uemura. If you’ve never tried Shu eyeshadows before, I highly recommend them. They’re a little hard and have a bit of fallout, but the colors are vibrant and easy to work with. I love this combo of a subtle glittery gold with a neon matte orange.

Herbal Essences Wild Naturals Rejuvenating Shampoo, Conditioner & Oil

This post contains products that were sent to me for my consideration. Go here for my disclosure policy.

I’m not good with hair styling. Hell, I can barely straighten my hair properly, let alone curl it or do anything fancy. So when I was offered the opportunity to test out the new Herbal Essences Wild Naturals range I shrugged and went “sure”. I have never fallen in love with anything hair related (except for maybe my Air Motion brush) so I really didn’t expect anything extraordinary. I am here to admit that I was wrong.
