When I first heard about the BITE Beauty Maple Matte Crème Lipsticks, I may have done a little excited flail. I love BITE’s High Pigment Pencils, but I had yet to try their lipsticks and what better excuse was there than these fall-inspired, maple scented lipsticks? Continue reading
Hello beauties! Today is my 25th birthday (aghhhhhh when did that happen????) and I thought it would be nice to give back to my lovely readers! This past year and a half have been so wonderful – getting to chat with all of you in the comments and get to know you as friends and I really just wanted to say thank you. So I’ve pulled together a few of my favourite things for a little giveaway pack.
I feel like before Cara Delevingne’s magnificent arches, no one really cared about brows. Or maybe that was just my take on the situation. But now that I’ve taken the plunge, I can’t go back to naked brows. I’ve used powder, pencils and gel, but I haven’t found something that I’ve fallen as hard and fast for as the new L’Oreal Paris Brow Stylist Plumper in medium to dark. Continue reading
Lemonade is such a perfect summer drink – refreshing, tasty and it vivdly reminds me of my childhood. When I was young I spent most of my summer at my Grandma Butler’s house because she lived in town, so I actually got some socialization. (Ha! Thanks farm living 😉). Plus she was just the bomb diggity. I mean, where else did I get to raid of a stash of tasty crackers, pudding and Dunkaroo’s whenever I visited?
L’Oreal has finally brought some of their L’Ombre Pure eyeshadows to Canada (though only for a limited time, unfortunately) so of course when I saw four of them in Shoppers Drug Mart on Thursday I snapped up every. single. one. I now own three blue eyeshadows where as before I owned none. Moment of weakness, or new found love? I’m still not 100% sure. Continue reading
Good morning, lovelies!
It’s been quite a while since I’ve posted, huh? We moved at the end of June and my entire routine has been thrown off – including my blogging one. I’ve been having the toughest time getting back into it! So I thought that I should start easy and have a little catch up.
The past few weeks have been so great. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous here in Halifax and now that we’ve moved closer to downtown (aka into civilization) it’s so so much easier to go out and about and enjoy the city. We can actually go for walks in the evening and see more than houses! Haha, it’s perfect.
Last Fall I aimed to finish up 6 products by Christmas, and while it wasn’t 100% successful it was a great way to motivate me to use up products and it was fun to document too. So when Angela from Raincouver Beauty shared her Finish Five by Fall project, I jumped at the chance to join in. I’ve kind of been doing this anyway in an attempt to use up older products so why not document it?
So…that’s more like 8, but they’re in categories and…yeah. I’ve got nothing. Finish Five by Fall just sounds so much better than Finish Eight by Fall, ya know?
