Review: Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama

If you saw Sunday’s post, you’ll have an idea of just how beautiful Maybelline’s latest addition to their mascara lineup is.

Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama comes in packaging that makes it look a lot like it’s a double ended mascara. You know the ones I mean – primer on one end, mascara on the other? Well, turns out that it isn’t, but despite that little confusion in the packaging department I love the bold colours and the shape of the tube. It’s still cylindrical but with a fun twist. It’s a really beautifully designed mascara and luckily what is inside the tube is just as beautiful as the outside.

The wand is a rubbery, spikey number that doesn’t look all that remarkable, but there is something about the bristles that really hug the lashes and curl them like you wouldn’t believe. This gives me the perfect lashes with minimal effort – I get tons of volume and length with one coat and curl without having to use a lash curler. I do find that the mascara is a little bit too wet, so it can be a bit messy, but that’s common for Maybelline mascaras and my preferences. Like the Lash Sensational, I think I’m going to love the Falsies Push Up Drama even more after it’s dried up a little in about a month.

Drusgore Makeup Look

This is the photo from Sunday’s drugstore makeup look where I used Maybelline The Falsies Push Up Drama mascara. My lashes lookย huge and so voluminous. I’m kind of obsessed with this mascara. Even more so because it stays put all day – I haven’t had any sort of issues with it flaking or rubbing off. I mean…I had a nap and didn’t wake up with racoon eyes. That’s pretty impressive, no?

What’s your favourite mascara?

  1. i was really impressed by this on your lashes when I saw it in person and it looks great in photos too! i really wanted to try lash sensational but now i want to try this too and i have like 8 open mascaras already…

  2. Wow, your photo is the most impressive example of this mascara I’ve seen yet! Your lashes are huge. Many others that I saw previous were somewhat clumpy. There must be a learning curve to this mascara because the feedback on it is so mixed. But your results are definitely positive!
