My obsession with David’s Tea has come around full force this month with the dip in the temperature and the holiday product releases. There’s just something about winter, the holiday’s and tea that gets me really excited like no other time of the year. So there’s going to be quite a few tea posts coming up in the next few weeks! But today I’ve got a review of David’s Tea Ginger Beer, the November Tea of the Month.
I haven’t tried many of the Tea of the Month’s this year, only Yogi Berry and Electric Lemonade, but of the few I’ve tried, I’ve found that they’ve been very unique teas that have been so fun to drink. Ginger Beer is definitely the same and I’m so glad that I decided to try it out when Zoe and I went in last week.
Sweet, spicy, refreshing…is there anything tastier than a good ginger beer? Since its introduction in 18th century Britain, this fizzy, golden drink has been a hit everywhere from the lunch counter to the cocktail bar. And with warming ginger and sweet apple, this tasty blend is our take on the classic. We love sipping it after a heavy meal, or to soothe a sore throat. Up for experimenting? Brew it strong and top up with sparkling water and a splash of vodka, for a twist on a Moscow Mule. Cheers
Now, I haven’t tried it with sparkling water and vodka like David’s Tea suggests, but I have tried it brewed normally. Somehow they have managed to make it taste fizzy without actually being fizzy…yeah I don’t know how they did it either. I love to drink it when I desperately want a soda because of that! It’s a much healthier alternative. There’s also something about it that’s incredibly comforting and warming, I think it’s the ginger, or maybe it’s just that I’m so consistently chilly. Either way I’ve been seriously enjoying this little herbal tea.
You can get David’s Tea Ginger Beer on it’s own like I did, or in several tea collections, including the Tea of the Month collection.
