3 Looks 1 Palette: Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani Eyeshadow Palette

Last week I reviewed the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette and now that there’s been a ton of hype around the upcoming lipsticks and blush palette, I thought it’d be appropriate to share how I’ve been using the eyeshadow palette. I wanted to do five looks for this post but I’ve actually been struggling to come up with 5 different eye looks with this palette – so much of what I do looks the same! But with that being said, I do have three looks that are quite different. I’m going to be using Chelle’s method of showing tutorials because it is just that good!

Look 1

The first look centres entirely around Revlon Black Cherry lipstick, which my husband gave me for Christmas. Turns out it also matched my hair!! I wanted to use quite a few shadows from the palette in the look, but I didn’t want it to be too smoky.

Look 2

The second look in this Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow series was a no makeup makeup day, which honestly this palette is perfect for! I easily could have just used Skimp all over the lid and that’s it (which I often do) but I went for a bit more dimension seems as I do wear glasses.

Look 3

Because the other two looks were both pretty neutral I knew I wanted to use some of the colour in this look. The Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette has a few really great pop of colours in it, but ink and blue aren’t really my thing. So I automatically went to the Punk and 1987 and it turns out this look is a lot like the look I did with my Makeup Geek shadows…I guess it’s one of my favourite colour combinations!

  1. First of all, I am so envious of your crazy long eye lashes! Mine is just pathetic! I adore this palette and it’s the first palette that I can’t stop using everyday, usually I get bored after a week but not with this. Love all three looks you created, very pretty! And yes, I am seriously looking forward to her blush palette and lipsticks!

  2. What a great post! I can get stuck in a rut of using the same few shadows from a palette – neat idea to show 3 looks to inspire! ♥ I dont have this palette but it looks SO gorgeous! Im trying NOT to get it because I already have SO many other palettes in my collection!

    • Thank you! I had a couple other potential looks I could’ve used, but the ended up looking the same as the second one so they got scrapped haha. I am so in love with that Revlon lipstick!!!
