Last week I reviewed the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette and now that there’s been a ton of hype around the upcoming lipsticks and blush palette, I thought it’d be appropriate to share how I’ve been using the eyeshadow palette. I wanted to do five looks for this post but I’ve actually been struggling to come up with 5 different eye looks with this palette – so much of what I do looks the same! But with that being said, I do have three looks that are quite different. I’m going to be using Chelle’s method of showing tutorials because it is just that good!
Look 1
The first look centres entirely around Revlon Black Cherry lipstick, which my husband gave me for Christmas. Turns out it also matched my hair!! I wanted to use quite a few shadows from the palette in the look, but I didn’t want it to be too smoky.

Look 2
The second look in this Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow series was a no makeup makeup day, which honestly this palette is perfect for! I easily could have just used Skimp all over the lid and that’s it (which I often do) but I went for a bit more dimension seems as I do wear glasses.

Look 3
Because the other two looks were both pretty neutral I knew I wanted to use some of the colour in this look. The Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette has a few really great pop of colours in it, but ink and blue aren’t really my thing. So I automatically went to the Punk and 1987 and it turns out this look is a lot like the look I did with my Makeup Geek shadows…I guess it’s one of my favourite colour combinations!

And those are the looks! I’m overall pretty happy with the Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani eyeshadow palette – it’s nice for every day looks! What’s your favourite every day eyeshadow palette?
Love, love love. All of the looks are amazing, but I have to say look #2 is my fave. It’s so fresh and youthful!
I like that one a lot too! I’m very partial to the first one, but I think that’s just because I love the lipstick colour so much 😛
Love all 3 of these looks – but with Black Cherry it’s amazing!
Thanks Rebekah! I can’t believe I had never tried Black Cherry before – it’s something else.
Love these colors..I’ve heard so much about these awesome products, looks like I might need to try.
Definitely! If you can give the shadows a swatch I’d totally recommend it
I’ve been so afraid of using any of the shadows in the last row of the palette haha- but 1987 seems like a rather wearable shade. I definitely love it for the no-makeup makeup days like your look #2!
Great post 🙂

It’s super wearable! I love gold – it feels like an extra somethin something but it’s still super wearable 🙂
First of all, I am so envious of your crazy long eye lashes! Mine is just pathetic! I adore this palette and it’s the first palette that I can’t stop using everyday, usually I get bored after a week but not with this. Love all three looks you created, very pretty! And yes, I am seriously looking forward to her blush palette and lipsticks!

Mine go through spurts – I find not wearing mascara for a little bit really helps mine grow out! I’m glad you’re loving the palette so much!! 🙂
I think #1 is my fave, but they’re seriously all so pretty! I need to play with this palette more- I keep doing the same looks haha.
Thank you! 🙂 I was doing that too until I forced myself to use other shadows haha
What a great post! I can get stuck in a rut of using the same few shadows from a palette – neat idea to show 3 looks to inspire! ♥ I dont have this palette but it looks SO gorgeous! Im trying NOT to get it because I already have SO many other palettes in my collection!
Thank you!! It’s definitely a tempting one, that’s for sure!
All 3 looks are really wearable and cute! It’s so hard to come up with makeup looks, so props to you! That Revlon lipstick is so killer.
Thank you! I had a couple other potential looks I could’ve used, but the ended up looking the same as the second one so they got scrapped haha. I am so in love with that Revlon lipstick!!!
UD Gwen palette is da bomb! love all the looks!
Thanks Jilly!!
This is a great mix of looks and I’ve got to say that CoverGirl Full Lash Bloom Mascara looks fantastic!
I really didn’t like that mascara at first but now I use it every day! It needed to dry out a bit, I think! Thanks Zoe 🙂
Very pretty! I’ve heard almost 100% good things about the Gwen Stefani palette. Also your photos look amazing btw 🙂
Thanks Megan!!!! 🙂
SO pretty!!! Love look 1
I think that’s my fave too! ❤
