Has your skin ever felt so parched after a walk outside in the cold winter wind that it feels like if you frown, it may crack? Mine has been feeling more and more dehydrated lately and there is nothing that fixes that feeling quite like the Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster.
If you read my Winter Skincare Routine back in November you will remember that I included this beauty of a product and promised a full review. Well, it may have taken me a few months, but my skin’s love affair with the Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster is still in full swing.
If you’re unfamiliar with Hylamide, they are a branch under the big ol’ Deceim tree that includes cult favourites like NIOD and Hand Chemistry. They’re a Canadian company (whoop!) and because I kept hearing how amazing the quality of their products are (and affordable!) I was really excited to pick up a few items. I’m hooked on the Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster and my eye on quite a few other products by now…
But back to the Booster. It is housed a frosted glass bottle with a dropper for easy use. I apply one to two drops of the clear serum with my moisturizer for some added oomph and my skin has been loving it. The Halifax wind has not been kind this winter so far but the Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster has been stopping my skin from getting parched and flaky.
The Booster is incredibly light weight on the skin and when used on it’s own it doesn’t feel like there’s anything on my skin at all. Sometimes if my skin is feeling particularly dehydrated I will use it before my moisturizer as a mask and it just makes such an incredible difference: it’s like my skin gulped down a big glass of water. The dryness is gone, it’s softer…Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster is happiness in a bottle for dehydrated winter skin.
Using the Hylamide Low-Molecular HA Booster has been the first time that I’ve noticed a change in my skin instantly from using a product. I can’t wait to continue to delve deeper into the brand to see what else Hylamide and Deciem as a whole has to offer!
