Why yes, I am featuring a tea brand other than David’s Tea! I know, weird right? When Canadian tea company T by Daniel contacted me I was so thrilled! I couldn’t wait to try their teas and see what a Canadian brand had to offer.
I have Summer Collection from T by Daniel to share with you today, which features four tasty teas. BFF Berry Fruit Fusion, a herbal tea full of elderberries and hibiscus; Limelight, a light tasting green tea with just a hint of lime; Night in Rio, a herbal tea concotion unlike any other tea I’ve tasted and Orange Creamsicle, a herbal tea that tastes exactly like you’d imagine it would.
BFF Berry Fruit Fusion Herbal Tea by T by Daniel
When you try this tea you are going to be like OMG this tea is soooo totally my BFF. Kiss fruit juice and sugar bye bye with this full flavoured fruit and herb infusion that will get your tastebuds dancing. TTYL besty.
Ingredients: Elderberries, raison pieces, hibiscus petals, natural flavour
I really enjoy berry teas. When I’m in need of something sweet they are always handy and this one fits that bill perfectly. When brewed hot it can get a little bitter, so be careful of over steeping, but when steeped for 5 minutes it’s the perfect way to beat a sweet tooth. If you’re looking for an iced tea, though…you can’t get much better than BFF Berry Fruit Punch. It tastes exactly like fruit punch juice! But without all of that sugar. Yummm.
Limelight Green Tea by T by Daniel
He’s a red carpet read, cat walking superstar. The paparazzi just can’t get enough of limelight. I mean not only is he gorgeous, he’s all over the news since he started dating green tea…and rumour has it that he can naturally help increase your energy and detoxify your body. Even George Clooney’s a little jealous.
Ingredients: Green tea, lime pieces, natural flavour.
I was really excited about Limelight when I first saw it on the T by Daniel website. I’ve been really into lime this summer, so what better than a tea that tastes like lime juice? When brewed hot you get quite a good taste of lime mixed with the green tea, but unfortunately it looses its excitement when iced. This is definitely better hot, but I don’t mind that at all – mmm lime.
Night in Rio Herbal Tea by T by Daniel
Arreeeeeba! Although we still don’t know what that means, we do know that you’re going to be mesmerized with this caffeine free herbal blend of apple chunks, candied pineapple, candied papaya and safflower petals. Just like the colours on a parrot or a night in Rio, there’s a lot to explore!
Ingredients: Blackberry leaves, black current leaves, apple chunks, candied pineapple, bean peels, candied papaya, citric acid, pineapple chips, safflower petals, natural flavour.
I’m honestly at a loss for how to describe this tea. It almost tastes like dill pickle chips? But not salty. I can definitely taste the floral notes from the safflower petals, and the flavour notes end with an really interesting richness…but I have never tasted anything like it, and can’t pick out any of the other flavours. This is best iced for me, though my hubby does quite like it warm.
Orange Creamsicle Herbal Tea by Tea by Daniel
Remember the sound of the ice cream truck as it would turn the corner, heading for your street, while you would scramble for every last nickle you could find? All for that moment when you unwrap that delicious orange creamsicle. T by Daniel recaptures that moment all over again in a delicious herbal blend. Quick, eat it before it melts away!
Ingredients: Apple pieces, rosehips, orange pieces, hibiscus, sunflower and safflower petals, natural flavours
If you try one of these teas, get this one. Oh my god it’s amazing. You know how I said BFF Berry Fruit Fusion tastes just like fruit punch? Well this…it tastes EXACTLY like a creamsicle. In both warm and cold form – though I do like it better cold. It’s amazing either way, but iced takes you to the cool treat immediately. Gah, I think I need to go brew myself some of this right now because my mouth is watering just thinking about it.
