Job interviews are damn stressful. I had one last week and I went to do my makeup and my mind went absolutely blank. Eyeshadow? What’s eyeshadow? How do I do my brows again? I seriously couldn’t remember anything about my normal routine, it made me very glad that I decided to do my makeup early.
So that you don’t have to go through what I did (and let’s be real, so I can consult this post again when I need to) I decided I should document what I did for my job interview makeup.
For me, the key to job interview makeup is keeping it natural. While I desperately wanted to wear bright purple lipstick so I could fake confidence, I didn’t want to be worrying about having purple lipstick smeared across my face. And maybe it would have been a little too much, even for an interview for a theatre company. Continue reading
