Vichy Teint Ideal Makeup Review, Swatches

There is very little that gets me as excited as skincare infused makeup, so when the new Vichy Teint Ideal range landed in my mail box I was so eager to tear into it. I received five pieces from the line, including the Teint Ideal Fluid FoundationTeint Ideal Cream FoundationTeint Ideal Compact PowderTeint Ideal Bronzer in Sunkissed Glow and Teint Ideal Highlighter.

The Teint Ideal range is held beautifully in nude and gold packaging that feels high quality without feeling like a bag of marbles in your bag. The liquid foundation comes with a pump (which I honestly expect at this point) and the applicators included in both the bronzer and powder foundation are useful for putting product on your face. Pretty good, huh?

Vichy Aqualia Thermal Mineral Water Gel & Mineralizing Thermal Water Review

The dry winter months are just around the corner (I know, I know) but don’t you worry – I have a couple of solutions for you with the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Water Gel and Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water. Both of these products are packed with moisture for your skin without feeling heavy or over powering.

Vichy Mask Collection: Purify, Exfoliate & Quench

Vichy recently released a small collection of masks to address common skin concerns across all skin types. This new Vichy mask collection includes three masks to hydrate, exfoliate and purify the skin and is ideal for multi-masking. These three masks are mineral-infused, using mineral thermal water to make your skin stronger and healthier.

As someone with acne-prone skin that tends toward oily in the summer and more normal in the winter, I was pretty excited to give this new Vichy mask collection a try.

Empties & Tosses #14

Empties & Tosses #14I’m starting to really really enjoy writing these Empties & Tosses posts. It’s not only nice to keep track of things I use up, but it feels like a nice, reflective way to look back on the month. Or maybe I’m just feeling poetic this morning. 😉

😊 = pretty great (consider repurchasing)

Welcome to another instalment of what’s in my beauty trash! If you’re new to these kinds of posts, this Empties & Tosses segment showcases the products I have either used up or have expired in the past few months. This October to December period was a doozy for using up/tossing products, so it’s a bit of a long one! Continue reading

Sunscreen for Days

This post contains products that were sent to me for my consideration. Go here for my disclosure policy.

I don’t know about where you are, but in Halifax it is hot. After a weekend spent ducking into anywhere that had air conditioning and ingesting an impossible amount of iced drinks, I thought it was about time I wrote about my favourite sunscreen products. Summer doesn’t seem to be going away any time soon, so we’re going to absolutely need to keep plastering it on every inch of exposed skin in the (sometimes very awful) stuff. But I’ve been hunting for the good bottles and I think I’ve stumbled across some of the best sunscreen on the market for face and body.
