It’s been a while, but I’m feeling refreshed after an unplanned break from blogging and raring to go! I missed the end of June, but it’s still time to talk about products that I’ve used up in the last month-ish.

A bit of a refresher on my rating scale:

😘 = love (repurchase)
😊 = pretty great (consider repurchasing)
😑 = indifferent (will not repurchase)

Skincare, Bodycare & Haircare Empties

Batiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo 😊 I think this is my favourite Batiste dry shampoo – it adds the volume I want and it keeps my hair clean. Not a fan of the scent though.

Schaf Skincare White Lava Purifying Scrub 😑 It’s not that I didn’t like this scrub from Schaf Skincare, but I didn’t feel like it was anything particularly special.

Lancome Bi-Facial Double-Action Eye Makeup Remover (sample)😊 There’s a reason why people rave about this one so much, it’s pretty great! But I like my Marcelle eye makeup remover just as much and it’s far closer to my budget.

Yes To Carrots Nourishing Gentle Cleansing Wipes 😑 I only ever use wipes for removing swatches from my arm and got these on sale. They’re okay, but I found they dried out fast.

Reversa Anti-wrinkle Cream SPF 30 😘 Love it. Will repurchase it when I run out of my current bottle!

L’Occitane en Provence Dry Skin Foot Cream (deluxe sample) 😑 Kept my feet moisturized, but smelled AWFUL. And I’m really not a fan of cooling sensations on my feet, so I was glad when it was gone.

Bath and Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel Body Lotion 😘 My favourite lotion scent EVER. B&BW lotions are the perfect formula too – not too heavy, not too light.

Kiehl’s “Close-Shavers Squadron” Shave Cream 😑 My hubby bought this…ages ago now, but stopped using it in favour of something else. So I used it up and it worked fine as a shaving cream. It was menthol-y though, which I’m not a fan of. (Though makes a bit more sense on the face rather than legs n pits)

LUSH Don’t Look at Me Fresh Face Mask 😘 Both of the next two face masks should have been in last month’s empties but I kept forgetting to clean them out. Oops. I loved Don’t Look at Me A LOT – it made my skin feel soooooooo soft and smooth. I need more exfoliating masks in my life, I think.

LUSH The Sacred Truth Fresh Face Mask 😑 The Sacred Truth on the other hand wasn’t for me. A friend gave this to me after she got it and didn’t like it, but it’s targeted at dry, mature skin. And that’s definitely not my skin type, so I didn’t enjoy it much either.

Tea Empties

David’s Tea Organic Vanilla Chai Black Tea (sample) 😘 I really fell in love with this tea and think it’ll be once I repurchase if I ever need to buy more tea. 😉

David’s Tea Organic Silk Dragon Jasmine 😑 I like Jasmine green tea but for some reason this one just didn’t do it for me. No idea what about it didn’t tickle my fancy, though.

Makeup & Bodycare Tosses

Calgon Take Me Away Hawaiian Ginger Body Cream 😊 I really like the formula of the Calgon Body Creams – it’s thinner than a body butter but thicker than most lotions, so it actually moisturizes my skin to a good level. The Hawaiian Ginger scent was nice too, but I forgot about it for too long and it went bad. Whomp whomp.

Covergirl Lipstick in 295 Succulent Cherry 😑 I love the formula and the shade of this lipstick (moisturizing, but not slippery, a warm red) but it’s gone off. I’ve only had it a few months and it started to smell really awful, so it gets to go away.
