REVIEW | Air Motion Pro Hairbrush

It’s been a busy past week or so for me – my wedding is a week from tomorrow! Yikes! So I’ve been working on a lot of last minute projects and running to my parents and etc. which has led to less inspiration for posts. HOWEVER I have a new review for you today and I’m working on a monthly favourites post to put up next week!

At the end of March I won a giveaway on Caroline Hirons‘ blog for the Air Motion Pro Hairbrush and I have been using it for about a month now so I feel like I have enough experience with this bad boy to review it.

Review: imPress Manicure

This post contains product that was sent to me for consideration. See my disclosure policy here.

A few weeks ago I got an email from Influenster telling me that I qualified for my first ever VoxBox – the imPress Manicure box. I had never heard of this product, so I thought it’d be a great chance for me to try it!

I admit that I was a tiny bit disappointed when I received my box – there were two manicure sets in there and neither were something I would chose to wear on a day-to-day basis. But regardless, I thought I would try one out and do a review on here!

So I’m gonna do that cus it sounds like lots of fun and I love AB! so if it gets more awareness, even better!

Thursday’s Thoughts | Couples Showers

When my fiance and I started thinking about “bridal showers” a few months ago we both kind of went “yuck”. I personally don’t like that typical bridal showers are all about the bride and oohing and ahhing over kitchen wares and doing silly (embarassing, in my opinion) games. I wanted my fiance there, for one thing. We are the ones getting married after all, it’s not just me. And I also wanted to celebrate with my male friends, not just the women in my life. So came about our “couples showers”.

The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Wash

I have been a fan of the Body Shop’s tea tree line for years. Well, really I’ve been a fan of the Body Shop for years, but that’s a post for another time. A few years ago I was in love their Tea Tree Skin Clearing Facial Wash, which fights blemishes like no ones business, so when I saw the Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Wash a month or so ago I was really excited to try out something new from the line.

Thursday’s Thoughts | Spring Bloom Tag!

I’ve been having issues coming up with my first “Thursday’s Thoughts” post (funnily enough, I have one for next week) so I thought I would do a tag post! I saw this one on Beauty Reductionista last week and thought it would be fun! (Note: I’ve skipped some of the questions because they don’t apply to me or I didn’t feel like answering them.)

Reviews Day Tuesday | Oprah Chai Latte

The past week I’ve been brainstorming some ideas for “segment” type posts that I can use to keep me writing and I so far have two weekly segments and a monthly one, which is pretty exciting for me! The first is Reviews Day Tuesday, which is a thing that Hank Green of Vlogbrothers fame posted about on his Instagram. I like writing reviews, but I don’t want this blog to be only reviews, so this is a great way to find a balance! The second, which I will be starting later this week is Thursday’s Thoughts, which I saw on Soph’s blog and loved! Those posts will be more personal posts – life updates, word vomiting…haven’t decided exactly yet, but it’s definitely going to give me some freedom, which will be nice! If you guys have any suggestions for other things you’d like to see on here, let me know in the comments below!
