I seriously considered whether or not writing about the BITE Beauty Rewind Lip Set seems as it was limited edition but as of writing this (Boxing Day) it’s still available online. I’m also so enamoured with the formula of the BITE Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons that I’ve gotta share the love.
Entertaining Korra is not easy. She spends most of her days sleeping in our bed, but even if we try to give her new cat toys (be it a cat nip mouse or laser pointer) she is rarely interested. Even a laser pointer only gets her excited occasionally. I hope we just haven’t found the right toy yet, but maybe she’s more like Dylan and I than I thought and just likes to sleep a lot.
You’d think we’d have learned by now that cat toys just don’t interest her. We have a shelf full of crinkle balls and toy mice, but her favourite things to chase are ping pong balls. And occasionally the laser pointer. If she’s in the right mood. 😉 Continue reading
I recently went on a tiny purchasing spree at the mall – I couldn’t leave the LUSH Christmas collection completely untouched – and while I think I was perfectly reasonable, Dylan was giving me the side eye as I was checking out. I mean, I was going to pick up Yog Nog and Reindeer Rocks soaps but I held off. That’s something right?
Without meaning to, I have collected all three teas from David’s Tea Holiday Collection. I collected them separately but now I regret not waiting until the holiday tins were released. They’re just so beautiful!! But at least I got the teas because they are delish.

Way back in October the Canadian Beauty Bloggers collaborated with Demeter Fragrance Library and their Scent Inspired Memories. Unfortunately my package got lost in the mail so I didn’t get to participate in the actual campaign. Demeter was so delightful to remix my scents and send me a brand new package. I was practically dancing with excitement when my package landed on my doorstep!
I had completely forgotten what scent memory I had in mind when I was initially in contact with them, so it was a bit like Christmas morning when I opened up the package. Would I smell like cookies? Rain? Outdoors? Apparently I picked thunderstorms, which is utterly perfect. Continue reading
I’m back! Kind of. I still have one more final exam tomorrow before I’m completely done, but I just couldn’t hide my adoration of the BITE Beauty Agave Lip Mask. This was part of my parents Christmas gift to me, but because they gave me the money to buy what I wanted I was able to pick this up before the holidays and give my poor peeling lips a much needed pamper.
