Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations

For beauty lovers, the semi-annual Sephora VIB Sale is highly anticipated. It’s one of the few times that any sort of discount is applied to items in Sephora, so of course those of us with an uh…. appreciation for the beauty aisles get excited. I’ve put together a list of a few of some Sephora VIB sale recommendations full of some of my favourites and items that I am drooling over this year.

First up, the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette is a beautiful neutral palette that smells like chocolate. Apparently it also tastes like chocolate, but I’m not testing that out for myself. 😉 Since purchasing it last year in the VIB sale, the Chocolate Bar palette has quickly become one of my favourites. You can do any sort of neutral look with this palette – natural, smokey, glam…it’s so versatile!

Peter Thomas Roth is well known for their high quality skincare, and their masks are particularly popular in the beauty world. This Mini Mask Magic Kit is the perfect introduction, and while I haven’t personally tried them, but they are pretty high up on my wish list.

I bought the Clean Rollerball trio last year during the Black Friday sales at Sephora and they have quickly become my favourite scents. They aren’t heady or too strong – they smell exactly like you’d expect, clean. There’s one in particular, Warm Cotton, that smells exactly like clothes straight from the dryer. I won’t personally be purchasing the Clean Rollerball Layering Set because I have three of the scents already, but I highly recommend giving them a sniff if you’re in the market!

The Bite Beauty Best Rewind lip set is already super popular in the blogosphere and for good reason. Last year they had a similar set of their lip pencils and they are one of my favourite formulas out there. I haven’t tried their matte lip crayons yet, but this would be the perfect introduction.

L’Occitane has the best hand creams. Yep, I said it. The Shea Butter scent is my favourite – it’s a classic, non-intrusive scent and the formula of the lotion leaves your hand smooth and soft for hours. I’m almost out of my tube and I think I am going to need to repurchase.

Zoe has introduced me to FRESH lip balms and I’ve become addicted. The Rosé scent is always in my makeup bag and it’s one of the few lip balms that will keep my lips feeling smooth and soft right now. These lip balms are pricey so the VIB sale is the perfect time to pick up this adorable Nude Lip Lovers set.

I wonder if I even need to introduce the Urban Decay All Nighter Long Lasting Setting Spray as it’s one of those items that I use every single day and seems to be loved throughout the beauty blog/vlog world. I have an issue with keeping my makeup on my face – especially in the summer! – but the Urban Decay setting spray helps to keep everything in place. I know I’m going to be picking up a replacement.

I debated on whether or not I should include the Kat von D Lolita Lip Duo because I have never tried anything from the KvD line and I haven’t even swatched Lolita. BUT this is a highly coveted lipstick and I have been liking the idea of brown nudes more and more lately. I have a feeling this is going to sneak into my basket…

I have been lusting after the Living Proof Perfect Hair Day line since it was released and I love travel kits like this. I mean, anything that claims that it’ll give you a perfect hair day is worth a try in my books.

I recently finished my Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer Kit and at first I was relieved – it lasted for years. But now that it’s gone I am realizing how much I’m missing it! It’s perfect for under eye concealing and correcting and because it’s a cream it covers up the worst of the dark circles. The addition of the powder is perfect for setting and brightening too – it’s really the perfect little kit.
